We've got some silicone muffin thingys - I think they're great, really easy to use and clean...and muffin's come out lovely & moist too!:044: We haven't tried any large cake tin shaped ones though but I'm guessing they shoud work just as well.

I have a square one for my brownies and it works grand....never any stickage issues which I love....Only thing is remembering to put it on a baking tray as obviously once stuff is in it is is really hard to pick up and put in oven...I found that out the hard way ROFL

MM I have a loaf baking silcone thingy, yes they are great but I think its a case of how much you want to pay for them, mine is a really thick quality and it cost £9.95 from a catering warehouse, there are lots of cheap one's about not sure of there quality, mine can withstand a head of 250 degrees, there not many dosmestic ovens go to that temperature.

Scrub that, I am going into Celebrations in Turriff today so may go and see what they have. I fancy the deep muffin tins for the wee cakes!
