For now at least! She seems to have got over the pancreatitis so fingers crossed. The vet says she may just be prone to it or she may be a dog that cannot eat certain foods i.e. sausages without it setting her off. She says Kali is a nice shape, has a trim waist and has a lovely coat so to keep her on the Burns. So now we wait. In theory, if she only gets Burns food and treats then she should never have another episode

No, I haven't told her about the sausages :11: I had to go on the Burns website and order £33 of treats for her though so that should make her happy. Oh and I have got her a dozen pots of Rowntrees no sugar jelly. She loves it.... once she got used to the consistency of it which was hilarious to watch!

That's great news Sheryl :D
So can she not have fatty foods full stop? or is it just in moderation? ie one sausage per month?

Nothing fatty at all. I suppose until we at least see if she gets it again with just plain food. Great thing is she is now running about as normal. Mad as a balloon!!

Aye Jean. She jumped off the bed into what should have been an empty space but I put a box there  I was in hospital so didn't partake in all the drama! Makes a change for OH to go rushing to the vets with one of them. Just a couple of days stopping her doing her really enormous leaps and she is back to normal again. She will be the death of me. She really will :11:
