oh my Sheryl , how lovely, but my eyes are leaking loads now. She clearly was a much much loved pet, I absolutely love the picture of her lay on the settee on a huge huge white pillow, it made me chuckle :D , proper pampered pooch!
Aw she was so cute Sheryl, am sure you have magnificent memories :13: :13:

I do have very good memories but doing that slideshow made me think about how miserable her life must have been sometimes. I was always on the ball with her infections and usually my gut told me as soon as they started but I am sure there were times when I was a bit slow and she suffered. I look at some of those pictures and see her body bloated with the drugs and the little bandana covering her poor little neck which was so sore with wet dermatitis. Poor, poor Chloenoo :062:
That picture of her on the pillow was taken in the caravan I think. Mind you, she made herself very comfy wherever she was

Sheryl, you did the best you possibly could, you couldn't possibly have done any more. You gave her a home that was much more than the average pet owner probably would. Even " if" she suffered every now and then , it was probably much much less than she would had she been with different owners who didn't give her as much time & attention as you did.
Stop thinking like that. She was much loved and she definately knew it! She didn't have any worries about being cared/provided for & looked very relaxed.
you should be proud of all that you gave her xxx

:12: :12: Thank you. It did cross my mind now and again, what would have happened to her if we hadn't got her. She was 9 when we lost her, Theresa. That very first picture of her sat on the settee was when she 2 and taken just after her first AIHA attack. She went on to have 2 other serious attacks that damaged her heart and lungs before she was stabilised with her drugs.
