well I measured my steps and I do 10 in 30 feet so 3 feet a step, so according to the pedometer Ive done... drum roll...8.6 miles today. god knows how much the dogs have done. tho i just took lee and rolo on the one ive just come in from. its weird weather.. cloudy with fine drizzle coming to nothing but really hot and humid, so im roasted as ive got a jacket on. a bull was following me along a fence for a while but he got fed up thank god as he is a big brute and could easy step over the fence. I saw 4 red deer as well. and 1 eagle. went to the docs today and produced my sore wrist, she pronounced arthritis and sent me off with diclofenic so have swallowed them and they are helping.it was horrible on sat was in mortal agony couldnt use my hand at all. couldnt even dress myself.. just horrible but hope thats it peaked and going away again now.
well better and go and scrub the sweaty body. thanks everyone xx

Are you only 2 foot tall now with your legs worn down? Lol xx
feels like it!!
walked 33 miles since tues morning and now have a blister where my old blister had healed. I have proper walking socks boots etc but think the problem lies with the diabolical diabetes. Im changing my socks on walks now over a certain amount of miles and taking boots etc off to let feet air a bit. a cold stream is very nice. ach well all in a good cause.

You must surely be the size of a smallish midget by now lol xxxxxxxxxxx
Im just a wee blob being hoiked and hauled around the hills by 4 doolally spaniels! :038: I think everyone in the village thinks Ive really lost the plot! sometimes I just take 2 out then I take the other 2 out and meet the same folk passing in their cars. I think they think Im permanently outside with the dogs!:045:

im averaging 60 miles a week. blisters are still a problem at times. Ive bought new boots loads of friction free walking socks at silly money but if I do more than 12 miles in a day Ill get a blister regardless. hey ho!
never mind, all in a very good cause. xx

You are doing great Jean as all our volunteers. I am averaging around the 55 mile mark and am amazed at how many I rack up just pottering about!
