hello everyone Ive been a bit distracted lately and not on the computer as much. lots of doggie things and pepper my sprocker aged 10 has had another collapse while running on the hill so jimmy simpson from the vets school in edinburgh has taken her case on as he is studying collapsing gundogs.. see the link thing..
theres a clip you can watch if you click on the link..that says watch the report of collapsing dogs..It was very scary to watch and tbh I thought she was a goner. tommorrow im going to be out on the hill all day so we will see how she does.

I have heard of this a few times now and it has been low blood sugar that has caused it.
However i hope it doesn't happen again, and its nice to see you here.

she ran for 4 hours non stop and was as ready to go at the end as she was at the start. it was a good day tho with nice weather and she wasnt in water. last time was cold sleet wet and she had been in the sea through heather whins (gorse) and woods and cut forestry. today was machair. mostly flat.
we met up with a few other doggie peeps and little lee made a fan. a retired gp who has just lost his lab , he took a real shine to her so if she disappears I know where she will be!
