Watched this last night and it's soooooooo good. :D I'm a huge Tim Burton fan anyway, but it was even better than i expected. Very very dark, and a few bits which made me go squeamish (which i never usually do. :oops: )

I saw it last night and although im generally pleased with Tim Buton films, I couldn't stand the music / singing. Everything about the film looked amazing and I enjoyed some of it (the bits with no singing) - but don't really go for musicals anyway. Depp delivered another amazing and convincing performance however.

I saw it on Saturday night, I thought it was great. I really don't like musicals in general but I thought the singing in this was really fitting and really told the story as opposed to everyone just bursting into song at random intervals. JD was fab as ever but HBC really stole the show :06:

I want to see this film but the whole musical bit is putting me off. Is it easy to get past the musical part of it? Me and OH spent the whole of Moulin Rouge trying to amuse ourselves by predicting what the next song would be...it was either that or fall asleep. :D

There aint enough time between songs to guess anything - it's pretty much constant, give or take a minute!

I hated Moulin Rouge, I thought it was dreadful but I loved ST so that might tell you something... and I don't mean that I like blood and gore :mrgreen:
