I have heard of folk filling them up with melted cheese then popping them in the freezer x

These are a few I do - apart from the normal shape biscuits etc
1 a wee bit of Squirty cheesin in bottom then a couple bits of liver cake and a shape biscuit on top to make it more difficult to get it out
2 smear marmite or peanut butter around the side - not too much tho as the marmite is salty
3 Place in blender, some natural youghurt some tuna fish and a piece of bread (keeping a small piece og bread out, which goes in the kong first to act as a stopper to the small hole at the bottom) Blend altogether and then pour into kong (to do this easier if you place the kong in a cup to stand it up) now cover kong with foil and place in the freezer
make sure you take the burn off before giving to your dog by running under a tap etc - Great to keep them occupied and cool in the summer
4 Those square thin cheese - put one in side and microwave for TEN seconds take out and turn the kong round and round so the cheese coats the kong - make sure it is cool enough before giving to your dog

I have two like that, Sally walks off in a strop and Glen brings you it as if to say 'come on help then'

Loki doesn't bother with kings but loves the purple squirrel kong type toy my mam got him. It's got little rubber fingers to make it harder to get treats out.

When we have a roast chicken, I make a stock/soup using the carcass and veggies and then whizz it all up in the blender, bung one end of the kong up with some bread or cheese or whatever's to hand and then pour the soup in and freeze it. Ruby and Ted love their giant kong lollies on the grass in the summer.:044:

I'm lazy and just shove a crackerjack or similar shaped biscuit in :076: Frida had no patience and would just pick hers up and throw it on the floor to make it bounce and shake the contents out :045:

Primular cheese is great for this Fluffy, Biscuit in the top so the cheese don't run out.
My other dog used to love Peanut butter in her's ,but I used to only put one teaspoon of peanut butter and the rest was yogurt and I used to freeze it.
Bits of left over meat chopped up and veg.

Nothing special here, just kibble & carrott for Max & Harry gets peanut butter in his too (he can get away with putting some weight on, Max can't) with a raw hide stick acting like a lolly pop out of the hole & a pedigree ( I think?) chicken biscuit fits perfectly at the small end, you should hear the excitement when he gets his every morning
