I have a jersey cotton type top, a beautiful royal blue colour that I have managed to get grease all over. Judging by the amount, I must have splattered myself with a roasting tin. Anyhoos, I have tried Vanish in the wash and spraying Shout on it but it still hasn't gone. Any other suggestions?:062:

my dad always used to say that ironing it betweed two sheets of brown paper was best. As the heat warms the grease, the paper sucks it up - I imagine newspaper would work as well

Cardboard will work too..................you could try using the matt side of a cornflakes box, or something similar? :044:

Not sure if you have got out the grease stain MM but try gently rubbing in fairy washing up liquid, and them washing it normally.
