As I was in hospital last and signed off work for 8 weeks I have had to get all my shopping done. Couldn't leave all to OH could I? LOL I've never been a 'last minute' person anyway.

I have NO IDEA at all what to get the boys

I have bought them new watches but that is it (M's strap had broken on his and it was only a cheap watch anyhow J's isn't in much of a better state)

Right they are 10 and 12 yrs old so any sugestions greatfully received

Must dig out cards and get them written and posted - then that's one job out the way :lol:

I hadn't even thought about the horrible/boring writing of Christmas cards until I'd read this.
Just looked at the list of people I need to buy for & I haven't a bloody clue what to buy. It's all such a chore

There's a close near where I live, where all the houses are decorated every christmas and they collect for Alder hey childrens hospital and Zoe's place hospice. The people there do an amazing job, handing out mince pies and they even have a father christmas. We went on Saturday and we bumped into Nats head of sixth form and he made her go in and see santa, was so funny. Ok, just over a week ago there was only going to be me, OH and the 3 kids for Xmas. Now there will be 10 of us and we've still got two weeks to go. We moved into a smaller house last year lol!!!! I only bought a 5 kg Turkey cos I thought we were going to be on our own!!
