well i have to say my girl did me proud today and managed to pass her grade one with a distinction. Not bad for a 8 month old cocker with a completely novice handler/trainer.
I am now thoroughly addicted and plan getting through her grade 2 in the new year.
i would recomend anyone who like me is a complete novice and thinking about doing them to have a go...its gives you such a sense of achievement knowing that even if it is the basics at least you are moving in the right direction....and you can work at getting a decent gundog or obedient pet in logical steps. Which are easy to break down into two 10 minute lessions a day.
I for one am really glad that these are available to people "not in the know" so to speak.
