ok we have been staying in a village surrounded by woods/fields and streams much to ellies delight.she has loved being there and seems to be sulking big time coz there are no cows in the field here for her to wag her tail at. no pheasant for her to flush and no resident kestrel she has been trying to catch (even tho its always at least 15 foot in the air and so no chance of catching it anyway :lol: ) poor thing is feeling really hard done by. i'm back up there for the day saturday just to keep ellie happy.

i loved the place but the bus service was awful. no way could i get a job and be punctual. ellie and myself had some cracking walks. gonna take the camera saturday and try to get a close up pic of the kestrel. can't believe how close it let me get. ellie adored it there but i wish you all could have seen her reaction when she came face to face with a cow :D :D it was the funniest thing :)

Sounds like a fab place (if you don't have to work). My two strain to go in the opposite direction if we decide to take them for their 'clean' walk which is away from the stream etc where they absolutely filthy especially in this weather.
