Well according to here is is...
In laymans terms - holistic means the whole body. Holistic nutrition in dog food is about providing your dog with food which is going to benefit the whole body. It is not simply about Omega 3 fatty acids being good for your dog's coat or glucosomane having a wonderfull effect on your dog's joints. Holistic dog food is about the quality of the ingredients, their combination and how they complement each other in relation your dogs overall health and wellbeing.

I'm sure Sheryl will have a clearer idea though :044: Although with your access to game etc. why you don't just feed raw?

Thanks Tanya :059: Ive fed raw and they still get the odd thing, but I was always worrying whether or not they were getting exactly what they need in their diet so decent dry seemed the option. If I knew that what raw I was feeding gave them all the nutrients etc then yes I would feed it an nothing else :059:I have alot of meats accessible to me so it wouldnt cost me anything, well the price of a bullet :059:

Well Fargo's been fed raw since he was 5months old.....he doesn't exactly look like he's lacking anything from his diet does he :044: The only supplements they get are salmon body oil, keepers mix and a bit of mixed veg occasionally -easy peasy ;)
