.. on friday night. he was at a party in Inverness and someone just went for him and stole his wallet his money his cards and his phone. he was kicked in the head and has cuts and bruises but thankfully is ok. hes cancelled cards etc and says the guy is about 30 odd and a junkie , hes not sure who the guy is he was a gate crasher with a few mates.. so he will get off with it. DS is a big lad and had a dram or 2 and the other guy stuck his hand out saying hello who are you where are you from and as DS answered he stuck the head in DS. To think I was sitting here oblivious to it all. Im ill at the thought.
Im so glad hes going to be ok what with knife crime and all. he says hes going back to work tommorrow.. he gets into right scrapes, he is crap at sussing out the bad guys and thinks everybodys a mate until something like this happens. horrible. horrible horrible. Im glad DD is home as Im dreadful when something bad happens..
if i got my hands on the fellow he would be missing some testicles!

OMG Jean im glad he is ok :054: My brother was jumped in London years ago for his phone, he said he kicked the guy so hard in the nutts he was squealing around like a pig, he then laid into him again so I think the guy was a bit shocked he picked on someone who was a self defence expert, BUT as you say its the knife thing thats an abs worry !!

Jesus Jean you know I think sometimes we all feel a little too safe up here as being a wee bit away from it you never hear of things like that happening. I hope your son if ok and that the junkie gets the help he needs to get clean and stop this sort of thing from happening :075::075:

So sorry to hear that. Glad your son is ok though!
Take care - you are bound to react to this sort of thing like a mother lioness would with her cubs!

And if karma doesn't step up to the plate - i will!!
It is just gut wrenching when your kids are hurt - no matter what age or size!
I'm glad he's ok, but sad he had to go through that when he's such a trusting soul. xx

oh god Jean, how horrible for you. It's a mum's worst fear to take a call like that from her kids. I'm so pleased he is not seriously hurt and I hope they find the waste of space who was responsible. Hugs xx

Jean that is awful :( Just keep an eye on him tho, if it was reported to the police victim support will get it touch. Often the effects of something like this take a wee while to manifest. I thought I was ok after a similar incident but actually started to have problems weeks later. Big hugs to him. xx

Yup, I have that. The over 6 foot thing I mean. Down here it is called "little man syndrome" Showing there equally thick mates how hard they are.
Really upsets them when they get there arses handed back to them though.

like to see that.. :044: the worst of it was my son had had a drink was holding his hand out after introducing himself and the little twunt just pulled him forward and stuck the head in him. he so wasnt expecting it, he was all false smiles. :042::042::042: hope his testicles rot from a very painful disease and his willie drops off and gets eaten by rats!:042::042:and that he gets toothache for eternity.:042:

Terrible situation to be in, this happened to my brother twice in Birmingham, one of his reason's for going to Oz said he'd had enough of looking over his shoulder all the time.

Big sigh of relief that your son is okay after that horrible ordeal. There are some real low lives around aren't there. We've experienced horrible incidents in our family too - that's why I tend to prance round everywhere I go like Cato Fong off the Pink Panther these days.http://smileys.on-my-web.com/repository/MSN_Emoticons/MSN-Emoticon-karate-102.gif:016:
