Has anyone experienced anything? Like lights on and off, sounds, things moving.

A couple of nights ago, the small alarm I have on my back door just flew across the room. It frightened the life out of me. I stuck it back on and moments later it flew off again.
So me being me shouted out 'pack it in whoever it is that's doing that'. It stopped. I now know who it was. But it has got my mind going.

Love to hear your storys.

My house is evil. The walls crack, random things fall and a couple times my tv turned itself on in the midde of the night.

lol, your house isn't evil. An old lady who used to live there is just telling you that she's still around and wants to help. If you don't want her there, then just ask politely for her to go.

I am not a believer but ...at a previous address a new neighbour reckoned he kept seeing an old lady in his house. We all had a good laugh and opened a further bottle. Another neighbour was still in touch with the previous owner of the house (now in USA) and he repeated the tale via email. To our surprise the overseas owner came back with an exact description of the old lady!! It was his mother in law!! Advice was sought and the next time the old lady turned up our new neighbour told her that her daughter was in America and she was well and happy. The lady was never seen again. The experience was so convincing that my neighbour made a pact with his wife that who ever dies first will come back during the month of August and reassure the survivor that all is well. ...........and people ask me why I moved house and took to drink!

Not in this house, it is too new. My Grandfather was a medium. My Mum too but didn't want the gift, I see things occasionally and so did Lou when she was young.

Nothing that's happened to me, but my used to be visited every night. She mentioned it to the previous owner and she told my mum that the same spirit used to lift her child out it's cot after she kept putting her back in/

Some things can scare the poop out of you can't they!:076:

We often used to have a little spirit girl visit us at our previous house, she mainly watched my hubby doing the cooking:p...I felt she was called Emily but I could've been wrong.:051:

We have strange goings on here and I usually blame my beloved mum for winding us up.
My oldest son is a complete non-believer in anything like this, but yesterday he told me the following.
He had been searching for his favourite tee shirt to wear out with his mates. Looked everywhere, his room, our room, clean washing pile, dirty washing pile, washing machine, tumble drier - everywhere but couldn't find it.
So put on another tee shirt and went out with said friend.
Came back a couple of hours later - we were all out at work and school so only dogs and cats were home this whole time - and there was his favourite tee shirt lying on the clean washing pile on top of the tumble drier!!!!
I told him it was his grandma trying to tell him something (I reckon she was telling him to stop wearing tee shirts, dress up smart and get a job - but I didn't tell him that!!!!)

I am a believer!

I remember one time we were getting ready to go on holiday - I was downstairs clearing the car boot out while Our Del was upstairs ironing his beach thongs! :045: While he was there he couldn't resist putting the telly on to watch his precious footy...at which point he heard a loud "tut" and a long disgruntled sigh...which rattled him a bit 'cause he thought I was there checking up on him and disapproving about the footie...but when he turned round and realised I was nowhere to be seen a shiver went down his spine! :074:I told him it was my mum (keeping an eye on him from t'other side!) making sure he wasn't skiving! lol!:051:

I remember once years ago when I was about 14. I was a Duran Duran fan and had this huge poster of John Taylor above my bed. One night it fell down on me while I was asleep. I placed it on the floor. Next morning,it was all folded up on my bed......FREAKY!:074::074:

I have said (above) that I am not a believer but I can honestly say that I have ‘seen’ people that were dead. Nothing spooky or frightening. Each sighting has been within weeks of the party dying. I have seen them either in a crowd or walking away from me. You could be forgiven for thinking that the death was in my sub conscious and I wanted to see this person one more time. It could be that the sighting was nothing more than a person with a similar outline, walk or dress as my recently departed friend but this can not explain the number of sightings I have had. Nor does it explain the sightings I have had when I was not aware death had occurred. Why did I see these people – some of which I had not seen in years? I also ‘feel’ an unhappy house. I do not see anything. I just get a feeling. I do not tell anyone who might be living in the house. My own home is well over 100 years old and although I do not feel the presence of the previous owner, who I know died in the house, (and perhaps others who I do not know about) I do feel the presence of a young girl of about 9 or 10 years of age. None of the locals have said anything about an unhappy past or incident surrounding my house and I have not pursued the subject. (Folk around here think I am an odd ball as it is). One last thing and which is also true. (Would I lie to you)? Some years ago I was in the habit of visiting my mother at a week end for a cup of tea. On this occasion it was mid week and I had a real need to see her. On letting myself into her house I found her sitting in a darkened kitchen in a state of shock. About the same time as I had a need to see her a heavy light fitting had fallen from the ceiling, narrowly missing her and smashed on the floor. I can not say I am that close to my mother but I did pick up on her distress and feel the need to respond.
Anyone want to have tea with me? If you are a young lady (or not so young) and we are alone I can tell you what the immediate future could hold for you!!!

(I do not mean to be flippant or make light of a subject that I know many have faith in. No offence is intended by my post).
