Went there on Thursday with my brother and my son, Dominic, aged 14.
We had a truly lovely day!!! The tickets are a bit pricey, but you can go back as many times as you want for 12 months (in fact we used my brother's tickets for me and him and had to pay for Dominic - £9.50 for children, £15.00 for adults)
The gardens were fantastic and the castle itself really, really impressive.
Thoroughly enjoyed it and had lunch in their restaurant - also a bit pricey (but brother was paying for a birthday treat for me and Dominic) but the food was lovely.
If I went again, I would take a picnic, but definitely a lovely day out.:059:

Sounds like a lovely day out, and you've been getting nice weather down there too, haven't you? http://smileys.on-my-web.com/repository/Nature/flower-033.gif It's always nice to treat yourself to a meal out now and then.

Is it part of the national trust, or is it an estate on it's own?
Leeds castle is one of the ones I have never been to, might go there one day :)
