Do cockers retrieve Hedgehogs :074: :045:

I've never seen one at our place (our lodger did one evening), but the past couple of nights Fargo has been manic when he's gone out for his last pee of the night. Well last night he raced round and round on the scent of something, and after a few mins I said to OH 'Fargo's gone very quiet'...and low and behold he came out of the bushes with a hedgehog for me :007:

Bless him, I think he was quite relived to be told to 'leave it' and didn't seem so frantic after he had shown 'mum' what he'd been hunting for :078: I checked his mouth and no signs of being 'spiked' ^^ :045:

Breeze goes mad for them, Coco bounces back away from them. I have one that comes into our garden from next door, its got to be old, its the size of a dinner plate.

Oh and I did my homework, they do carry flees but cold bodied flees they wont stay on a dog, they can't cope with there body heat.

It's that proud 'look mummy look' face that I love :053:

The other night Poppy came trotting up behind me the that proud 'look mummy look' face...carrying a dead rabbit :074:

thankfully she went and gave it a proper burial :051:

The only one Gari ever brought me was his toy hedgehog - called Spike, funnily enough...^^
