My daughter has just got her A level results 1 x B and 2 x C's. :020: I'm so proud of her as I know she worked hard to achieve these results. :046: Now all the paperwork is coming through for her place at Uni. I can see I have a few cheques to write too.......:(

Thats wonderful news Fiona. It is so special when you know that passing exams doesn't come easy to them and they have had to put lots of effort in. Congratulations from us here xx :020::046:

well done, whats she doing at uni? Its so exciting for them right now.

It is an expense putting them through it. my daughter took english and cost me a fortune and she had a jopb as well, thank goodness my son decided to do a trade. as a single parent I couldnt have afforded to put them both through uni. I would have had to tho. you cant choose between your kids.

Thanks everyone....it's just so nice to shout about it! :059:

She is doing Public Health and Nutrition as she hopes to become a Nutritionist. It sounds really interesting and hopefully will lead to a good career.

It is going to cost a pretty penny though but hopefully she will get a part-time job to help out. They are worth it though. Like you Jean, I have an older son and luckily he didn't go down the uni route and joined the RAF instead...earning good money for himself!:)

She's going to do Public Health and Nutrition and hopes to become a Nutritionist at the end of it.

At least she'll be able to cook and look after herself while away and not survive on pizzas and pot noodles. :)
