read the book but dread the film - they've made it look all cutesy and romantic in the preview ad's but the book is actually quite raw - definitely about love so a romance - but the pain is there too (and it is a fantastic read)

Yeah I read the book and loved it, caught the tale end of the trailer the other day, thought I would like to go see it, unfortunately I am very dubious this will come across well to film...

I ahve not read the book but have been told to watch the film first and then read the book as I am always disappointed with films that I have watched after I have read the book...Possibly going to see this this weekend :046:

I want to see this, but am too proud to go to something like this because I know I will end up tearstreaked, and there is nothing more embarrassing than a fully grown man walking out of a chick flick, tearstreaked lol
Ill wait till it comes out on dvd :076:

So, the film was ok. Don't know if I just wasn't in the mood for it or not.
Ordered the book, so hoping that will be better.
