I am really skint but I can stretch to a tenner....you lucky lucky cow,,,promise you bring him with you.
I am on the list for most F****** police stations in central and NW england waiting for one. And private bloody security companies I have had to promise a pup from Lils litter if she is bred in exchange for the next one to be rehomed.
How did you manage this please tell me Krisdt please please please

Sorry hhavent been at work to get online. I know the handler and his wife as they come to the gym I work in. I made a random comment about dogs and it led to the whole 'ohhh what type of dog do you have?' conversation. later that night he came up in the car with the 3 dogs he has and brough out little Zippy to meet me I said that if he failed I would have him. because thay know I know cockers the handlers can rehome the dogs to people they know in soem occasions but the handlers wife said I would be ideal as they would still be able to see him. Am still gutted but I have to just try not to think about him too much

So why aren't you taking us up on our offer.
What are the rehoming costs involved?

Krisdt

In total its £515 which covers the cost of the pup and all his vacs/microchip training etc etc etc. I can afford the actual care of ta second dog just not the initial outlay iykwim :(

ETA- I couldnt take up your offer of money as I would feel too guilty

OMG that is a lot of money..... :09:
You would think they would do it like other cases and charge a moderate fee for a good home. Rather than actaully getting people to pay that much

i am astounded at the price they are asking. its far to much. a good loving home is on offer and they are asking stupid money. i have recently toyed with the idea of letting ellie have a litter. i would love one of her babies and thought the rest of the litter i would donate to the police, hearing for deaf and army. but if they are prepared to let money stand in the way of a loving home for the failed puppies then i def won't bother. i am truly truly shocked. guess my search for a new puppy is back on again. i had a lovely dog lined up for stud too.
krisdt stick to your guns. those people are aking the piss.

Lyn, you can't let Ellie have a litter, i'd have to have one of the pups!

Lyn the money actually goes to the breeders (well at least the bulk of it) for the pup so if you let ellie have a litter and one failed as a police dog then you would get the money from the new owner, plus like beth said I would want one aswell

The way it's going there'd be none left for the police anyway!
