Right just wondering

When out walking does anyone else carry an extra heavy duty 'whacking' chain lead in case your own dog gets munched on....... or on the other hand am I the type of person folk don't want to meet on a walk :09:

If you're female with chains - thats something I may consider paying for. ;) Otherwise, no. Probably wouldn't wanna meet you on a walk!

I have used my dog leads to whack some over friendly cows who were just a little too interested in my dogs..Im used to cattle so they dont scare me but Ive seen dogs get attacked by them and one of my pals got tossed about her barn by one of her own cows.. she only went in to feed a lamb and had passed this cow a hundred times.. for no apparant reason she decided to have a go.. needless to say that cow is burgers now!
I dont carry my leads as weapons as a rule tho!

i am more than capable of taking care of myself. which is lucky coz ellie is a wimp. i am also very lucky to be the mother of three strapping boys who would happily kill anyone who tried to hurt me. everyone knows me and to never disrespect me. my eldest is a pain in the arse but he can be very very scary and this works to my advantage :D
my huge fear is castor, the old tyme bulldog who lives a few doors up from me. he has a thing for ellie. scares the shit out of me. he's huge and often walked by his eleven year old owner :09:
