as some of you know one of my cockers has been really poorly..and after lost of worry and heartache..an op..ect.. he was diganaoised as having arthritis..and they removed his crumbling cartlidge..so at present walking..and doing anything he is in alot of pain..as he has bone rubbing on bone..until it regrows..
he is currentley on 4 different medications spaced out throughout the day...we have another vet appointment in 2 weeks time..to see how he is doing..and if vet think there is a little improvement..( although i have been told i will not see any improvement for 3 months!!!)
he will stop metacam and try a cartrofen ? injection..over a period of 4 weeks..
and also start hydrotherapy..
as harley is not allowed any walks...for 3 months until new cartlidge regrows...i thought about how i can get him out of the 4 walls and into the fresh air...
so as i said don't laugh..but this will solve my problem in the short term..so he can enjoy a walk..just not his proper doggie walks..just yet...
and i have to just hope and pray after 3 months of medication/hydrotherapy..it will never result in a full elbow replacement..

so what do you think..about my handsome boy..in his new pet stroller...

Aw terri - let us know how many times you have to stop while people coo over him on your first walk - he is adorable!!!

I have to laugh, but not in a bad way, just in a "Oh, he is so cute!" way. :078:

I think those strollers are ideal for dogs with mobility problems, it is so good for them to still be able to get out and about and see things.

Aww bless his heart!
I hate those strollers when they are used to carry little tiny dogs around who should be out enjoying their walks, but for your darling boy it must be a godsend! As you say, it will stop him getting bored and let him get out and about.
Love to you all, and hope the hydro helps - it does wonders for Buffy
