View Full Version : My Reiki experiment...

I sowed some french beans the other day in two different planters. Both are positioned side by side so are getting the same amount of daylight and water etc., I gave the beans in the left planter some Reiki (and give them a top up zapp each day) and just planted out the beans on the right normally. To my amusement and delight the beans in the left planter are about 1" out of the soil now and showing their little leaves etc., but you can only just about see one little tip of green coming through from one bean in the right planter! Fancy that eh???? Will keep you posted how the rest of the experiment turns out! I like to keep an open mind about all types of alternative "stuff" but I do enjoy seeing and experiencing proof.:044::059:

Update needed
How they doing now 3 weeks on ??? Oh the beans on the left are still winning the race :059:so far they measure 6" high! The poor beans on the right have had suffered all sorts!...two died pretty much as soon as they peeped out of the soil so I re-sowed them. Then a couple of days ago the last remaining original one on the right (which had grown to about 1.5" high) was a late night supper for a little critter so I've re-sown yet another bean! So I'm keeping my fingers crossed this latest batch will survive.:044:

Crikey I'd better go and sow some more seeds then! - mind you Christmas would have to come early this year as I doubt my little plants could keep producing beans into the winter??? everything we're growing is a bit of an experiment atm 'cause neither of us are naturally green-fingered! :045:I'll report back each week to let you all know how tall they're growing.:059:

Oooh thanks for reminding me Fluffs! Well, the ones I'm giving Reiki to now measure 13" and to my surprise I've just picked a handfull of beans off them! (which will get added into our dinner tonight!):059: and the poor wee beans on the right range from 4"(so no growth on the tiny one since last time) to 10" and are covered in sticky black fly! :063:So I've just given them a spray with some "Just-Green-Just-Bug-Killer" which is pet safe and organic!:044:

:032::032: thats amazing ange:044: brilliant experiment, will you do it with something else too? what did they taste like? did you feel guilty eating them hahahaha xxxxx:054: They tasted great, lovely and sweet and they were nice and squeeky on our teeth too! :045: I didn't feel guilty eating them because in my mind they are a gift from the plant to us which is gratefully received (yum-yum-im-my-tum!:046:) but I do feel guilty about the beans who are not getting reiki and are not thriving as well. :076::045:

x I think there's a handful of us on VC who do Reiki so hopefully you may get a few replies on this one. I'll happily PM you with a brief overview of the craft...(but it often takes me forever to compose things so I'll do my best to get some info out to you as quickly as my jumbled up brain can muster!):073:

Quick update on my reiki beans. The beans in the left and the right planters are both near enough the same height as eachother now but the ones that have had reiki have produced a more abundant crop. Beans from both sides taste lovely though. So all in all I've been really happy with the results of my little experiment. :046: I'll definitely give all my plants reiki from now on.:051:
