this morning started bad for me. ellie ate my purse :x and bobby got his head stuck in the cat food tin :04: sorted the cat but i fear my poor purse is dead and gone.
about 20 mins later bobby was asking to go out(he CAN say go out) he was sat on the front room window sill and howling which of course made ellie jump up onto it too. i told her to get down while i lifted blobs outside and she got her leg stuck behind the radiator. she was really crying and i was in a huge panic she was just hanging, i was soo scared and lifted her quickly, managed to free her leg and put her down to check it out. little horror wagged her tail and ran straight back to the window to watch bobby :04: i swear i got at least 50 new grey hairs this morning.
why do our dogs frighten us on such a regular basis???
i am still shaky now :o

I'm glad she's ok - what a fright you must have had. Dogs are as bad as kids for giving you a fright

my sisters deerhound got caught by a toe as he leapt a fence and didnt clear it properly. what screaming! we had to try and hold him up to take the weight off it while the keeper cut the wire. he limped a bit as it was bruised but not broken. Its horrible when they do stuff like that.
my others sister dog a collie did the exact same thing but he kept biting at anyone who tried to lift him to get the weight off. he had to get the vet to help. In the end my sister just had to brave his teeth and lift him while the vet attended to his foot. he was ok too. whew!
glad ellie is ok. :13:

Ooooh. Kali did that once. Got her claw stuck in the front of the calor heater. I had to lift her up and hold her weight while screeching for OH to help. He got her off and the stupid animal jumped out of his arms (6ft drop) and landed on her side, winding herself. Actually I think it may have been her head because she is nuts :11:

:14: I am getting Christmassy already.
