i have known charlie was autistic since he was just 4 months. its taken the health people 3 years to diagnose but they did it yesterday. it means leanne will now get the extra help she deserves. she is to have a sn nursery nurse visit twice a week to help with charlie and also he will go to a special needs playgroup in the school hols (leanne very pleased with that lol)
we were in with the specialists for three whole hours yesterday afternoon. i thought it would be half an hour at the most. omg i was sooo hungry and my stomach kept growling while the doctors were talking. it was well funny and leanne and me were dying to laugh. wasn't very funny after an hour and i was then gagging for a ciggie too. :o
and the doctor and speech therapist lady thought i was leannes sister :P :P
