Onya Biodegradable Poo Bags

Since normal plastic bags are horrible, in the fact they can survive in landfill for 100-200 years, I wanted to try some biodegradable poo bags, since my bin bags are like that. Well I found these being sold online:

Well they came through the post today. I was surprised at how thin they were compared to how normal bags feel.

Good Points:
They are thin so you can fit tons in your pocket without any trouble, they are also good for the environment!
Bad Points:
The thinness of the bags had the slightly disconcerting side effect that it was far more 'in touch' with what you were picking up. Also the bags themselves are fine for smaller clumps of poo, but if your dog has large poos, or has them caught in lots of grassy bits, then your going to have trouble turning the bag inside out. Still, using two to pick up larger piles isn't such a hardship.

Overall they are a good product, though would like to see them making the bags ever so slightly bigger.

hahaha,know what you mean about the far to intouch thing hahaha yukky doopoo..i use sandwich bags equally as thin:034:but i,m fed up of walking round like a bloated snowman with loads of supermarket bags stuffed in my pocket:044:xxxlike the biodegradeable thing though feel so guilty using plastic bags xxx

oh! I have never seen those. Ill have to look out for them, though I would feel really kinda embarrased at buying nappy bags lol

you should get free biodegradable pooh bags from your council service point. I do. ( maybe only in scotland) however the red pooh bins we put them in have non boidegradable black liners so still causes landfill. if in the country stick and flick off where folk walk eg in forrestry, better for the environment.:044:

Yeh I get them as well, but the miserable gits limit to how many you get before they start charging you,,,, I got a delivery of 50 :065: Christ I pick up 50 shits in a day :007:

I didn't know the council give them out. Ill have to check next time I am out at the recycling centre.

meanies.. I get 7 bags with at least 50 in each bag each time i go . lasts me ages.:052:
