Phffffttttt!!!!!!!! every bloomin' time our neighbour's dog, Lentil, plays with her squeaky toy in the garden Ruby gets soooo upset and starts yap-yap-yappin' in a reaalllyyy annoying high pitched way! I've tried distracting her with her squeaky toys - other toys - cuddles - bum scratches - you name it but all she wants is Lentil's toy (which of course in Ruby's mind is her toy!!!). So I always end up dragging her back into the house to calm down..it's SUCH a pain!:012:

Any tips to shut her up would be most appreciated!

Maybe offer your neighbour a trade of toys?

Ahhh if only it were that simple!!!...^^...maybe a trade of pooches might be more preferable, little Lentil is as quiet as a mouse!:001::D

Lentil - what a cool name for a dog :046: If you find the answer please let me know as well. Frida has started barking at the slightest 'odd' noise recently, be it from the radio or something outside and it it the loudest, shrillest bark ever....make us jump ever time :045:

Lentil is a timid wee thing - I think she's a greyhound or whippet - and is as quiet as a mouse, don't think we've ever heard her bark. I think our dogs piss the neighbours off at times with their little bouts of barking and I always try to reel them inside as fast as I can when something sets them orf but I still wish I could find their ruddy volume knobs! :D
