ellie usually sleeps in my room, but last night she wouldn't leave her squeaky polar bear alone (you can't take it off her or she whinges)so i put her out the room coz the noise was driving me mad. she has her own bedroom anyway so i never thought much of it.
this morning i stumbled out of bed,onto the the landing and stepped in compost. ellie had managed to somehow get the plant that lives on the bathroom window sill. it is shredded all over the landing and stairs. i can't even find the plant pot :o she has also emptied the washing basket and there is a trail of clothes and towels all over the place and all covered in compost :11: i had watered the bloody plant just before going to bed. i was awake half the night so she must have done it early this morning. god i hate wet compost. it sticks to everything and even now there are still bits i keep finding.ellie is very proud of her handywork. the plant used to be up on a high shelf and she has been trying to get it since she was a puppy. i moved it the other day coz it was looking a bit sick. i kept an eye on ells and thought she had outgrown her obsession. she was obviously just waiting for the perfect moment to get the giant nasty green thing and kill it for me :P has she been told off? nah, i'm quite pleased she managed to control her need to murder this plant for more than a day. there was a lot of muttering under my breath whilst i was cleaning the mess tho :D
i have skai and summer today and then charlie tonight so i am going to have loads more mess before the day is out.
wish i'd stayed in bed now :cry:
