Now, I usually measure out Ruby n Ted's breakie the night before when I'm sorting out their evening din-dins. This way all I have to do in the morning is take them out for their morning ablutions then upon our return I just grab their breakie containers, pour kibble into their bowls and hey presto, job done - all without an early morning barking chorus from the pair of them. Thus not waking up the whole neighbourbhood at an unearthly hour of the morning!

Horror upon horrors this morning though...I went to grab said breakie containers in my half-awake state and they weren't there...Huh WTF???...??? then it dawned on me yikes (well that wasn't actually wot I said!) we'd forgotton to feed the poor darlings last night!!!!!! hence the reason why their breakie hadn't been prepared! :080:

Of course I put ALL the blame on Our Del - HE was plying me with Champagne last night which always turns my brain cells to mush! AND, in my defence me-lud, HE was in SOLE CHARGE of the kitchen (while I was being lady muck downing champagen with my feet up on the sofa!) so HE should've remembered to feed them! :006::006:

Needless to say Ruby n Ted are being spoilt rotten today and mummy n daddy are holding their heads in shame! BAD, BAD PARENTS!!!! :058:

Now I'm amazed they let you away with it...I would never have got off with that in my house and probably would have been harassed to death in order to jog my memory...If their water runs out Glen thinks it is a subtle reminder to bash the bowl all around the kitchen so's I notice and fill it :045:.....If it was food I would probably get the bowl off the side of my head :070:

Loki isnt subtle when his bowl is empty (either digging in it or bashing it towards us) but could imagine him picking it up and bashing it over someones head isnt unbelievable lol

D'you know wot, they would normally have been pestering the life out of us too. Ruby is the main ring leader she usually starts by sitting in front of me licking her chops then if that doesn't work she puts her front paws on my lap and goes nose to nose with me and stares at me intently then licks my face - but she'd strained one of her front legs yesterday and was being all quiet and subdued...and Ted just slept quietly in the kitchen with his dad! :001:

Kali does that too.....and if I move my head to either side she follows it :074:

Poor paw doggies. No way on this earth would we have got away with that. It would have started with a little moan, then over the course of the night the carpet would have been worn to threads where little spaniel would pace from lounge to cupboard where food is & back again, walk all over me & repeat & probably followed by every trick he knows until I finally moved my ass then he'd jump around in circles & sit as quiet as a mouse whilst said food was being measured.
I hope they've forgive you ma lady
