hi everyone on vc :053::053::053::053:
thank you so much for all your messages and support over the last few weeks.and thank you for allowing me to share this with you.:078:
and i can now offically introduce you to mum mazie and her 6 gorgeous puppies:078:.
started at 10.33pm last night( birth time of 1st puppy), and finished this morning at 3.21 am( birth time of puppy no 6).
what a star, all went well, very relaxed ( as mazie is , takes everything in her stride, bless her heart, i can't tell you , but i did have a few tears in my eyes, and my god i know i love my dogs, but mazie has had so many gentle hugs and kisses.
i won't sleep now, as i've got to e-mail all my owners, and have'nt even updated my website yet, your the first to know the news..
4 x tri males.( black,white & tan.
1 x choc, white and tan male.
1x blue roan and tan female.
mum and puppies doing great.

cockers average between 6-8 oz.
mazies puppies were between 8- 110z.
and the puppy no 7, was 11 oz.

not sure what mazie is trying to do to me, but two hours later, a late addition came, and in total mazie has given birth to 7 beautiful puppies, 6 males and 1 girl.
all doing well.
will add a pic later on showing all 7 .

oh so close theresa .

here is mum mazie and her 7 puppies..
all doing great. mazie is a fantastic mum, still looking alittle blearry eyed, and exhausted, but no wonder for all she went through.
she is a dog in a million, and a very special little girl to me, not sure if you know, but this is mazies last litter, and will be spayed and retired, and live out her life with me.
hope you enjoy the pic, and over the weeks, i'd be happy to post more pics, so you can watch them grow and change with me.

aw thanks everyone :078:.
still feeling on cloud 9 at present.
and i'm sure i will not need too much rocking tonight in my bed:050::050:, been awake for 24 hours:035:, once i eventually sit down, i don't think i will get up again, i still also have my 9 cockers to look after, plus 7 puppies.think i'm running on my adreneline at present..
but i'm so in my eliment.
sorry to dissapoint you all, but all my puppies have new owners ,although they can't come to see them until they are 4 weeks old, they are all spoken for.and have been for months.
but i will definatley keep posting updated pics, so you can watch them grow with me.8 weeks is a long time,you may get fed up with me and the pics...hope not, as this has been wonderful to share with you.

my dogs breeder has in the past, sold working cockers to belgium france and holland ( guns that come here and book pups of working dogs theyve seen )

just wanted to say a big thank you :075: for all your lovely messages.
mazie is a star mum, and her puppies are all thriving and gaining a few ounces, which is great.
of course i will continue to post pictures, so you can see them change and grow over the weeks. and i'm making the most of my quite time, and catching up on paper work ect, as once my puppies get mobile, the fun and games really start.but so much fun, and so wonderful to see them grow into happy, healthy, well adjusted little puppies.

mazie and her gorgeous puppies are doing great. all growing fast, and all nice weights, mazie is doing a fabulous job, in looking after her 7 puppies.

been abit of a while since i updated you all.
mum mazie and her puppies are all doing really well :019::019::019::019::019::019::019:
and all growing and changing daily.
today some of the puppies have started to open their eyes, so thought i'd share a pic of puppy no 5 ( choc,white and tan boy).as he can now offically see his mum so much better so can find her more quickly, ha, ha, and can start to see the world around him.

shes my fav as well. terri one day in the future I may well be begging you to put me on a list for a wee thing just like her. Ive never had a show type Ive had working types since 1982. but theres a first time for everything.:053:

mazie and her puppies are doing fantastic. they are now up on their paws, much more mobile, have started solids,needle sharp teeth are through....
and have been a real joy to raise...
got a very busy weekend with all the new owners coming to view the puppies...

mazie is staying with me....beth ... she is a real sweetheart.everyone falls in love with mazie, she is such a laid back, fantastic mum. and i'm so proud of her..

as for the puppies..no 5 is called gunner, and has been reserved since birth, but i know the family..and they are having a 2nd puppy from me..
the others will all have names by the end of this weekend, as this weekend will be the first time my families all come back over, they have'nt seen mazie since before birth, so all my families are so excited,that they will all be having their first cuddles with the puppies and mazie..
and i can start calling them by their pet name as apposed to puppy no 1,2 and so on..

i simply have to have puppy 7 oh my good gawd,they are too beautiful for words:053::053:and i,d like mommy too,what a stunning lady she is:053:gosh,you must be in heaven with all those precious beauties xxxx i couldn,t let any go,i,d have to keep them all for myself:053::053:

yes i too have a real big soft spot for no 7.. i love them all, but no 7 was the last puppy to be born, and its a miracle he is here, as i thought mazie had finsihed at 3.21 am , and he was a late entry and was born at 5.45am.
when born he was lifeless, and i had to work on him abit until he took a huge gasp and started to come to life in my hands..and he has just gone from strength to stength over the weeks... so i'm sure when i have to part with him...there are bound to be a few tears along the way...its never easy letting go..he is such a sweetheart too, very placid little boy, and very much like his mum..
i'm just totally proud of every one of them...

i have even had one of my puppy owners write and send me an ode ( poem)which they had done for me...which made me cry in a good way..

would you like to see it...

Forgive my ignorance please but...what colour are they described as?only maize looks blue roan on the back,and black and tan on the face,i,ve never seen such a beautiful combination xx

are you referrring to mum or her puppies colouring...

mum is a blue roan & tan..( on a blue roan & tan..the tan markings only appear on the face, so muzzle area, on the eyebrows, and you get tan markings down front and back legs..but beacuse of the roan its flecking and not a solid colour as like the solid black and tan..and you get the tan around the bottom area too..which is correct for the colouring..so you will not get tan colouring on the backs of a blue roan and tan..and as you will see they are all and tan..as dad is a tri ( plack,white and tan), so again both carry the tan gene, so you would only get them all something and tan..if that makes sence...you would never get a blue roan..as both mum and dad carry the tan gene..

as for mazie's puppies..

puppy 1 and 2 are light blue roan and tan.( like mum)

puppy 3 & 4 are tri ( black,white and tan) so the colour you see is how they will stay, with no roan in the coat just a few of spots of black will come through..

puppy 5 is choco/liver, white and tan.( both dam & sire carry this gene in their pedigree)

and puppy 6 & 7 are dark blue roan and tan ( like mum, but a darker colouring)

fluffy just to give you an idea...

a roan changes from a young puppy, through to an adult..and as a roan ages..the tan fades more and they start to turn greyer as they age....as you will see the tan on mazie is not as dark as it once was...

then when she was an adult..( you can just make out on the legs..the roan on mazie,and the tan spots, instead of the block colour on a solid..)

to the recent ones on here with her puppies...

and just to comapre to a black and tan..( this is my girl india..home bred by me ) which is totally different...
and with a sold like a black and tan, what you see from birth is how they stay..they don't fade in colour like a parti does..

They are all just stunning. Now and again you come across breeders that are so devoted that you just know these wee things are getting the best start they could ever get, are loved, cared for and will contiue to be so. Kali and Lyla's breeder Karen is very much like you. Her love for her pups is evident and so is yours. I think you are an absolute angel because you put your heart and soul into these wee pups. :078:

hi everyone who has been following mazie and her puppies :075:

sorry i have not updated earlier..its just been a busy week for me this week, one of my other girls was spayed..had 3 dogs in for grooming..owners over to see their puppies ect...

mazie is doing great..and her puppies are all doing great and growing fast..this saturday they are now 5 weeks old..all have wonderful new mums and dads...they have been a real joy to watch grow , they have all grown in confidence, have been an absolute joy and previlage to nuture to become to happy, healthy little puppies they have all become..i will continue to update you as i always do a final photo of mum with all her puppies..as i feel this is a lovley photo for all the new owners to keep and look back on..so i will add this photo in a few weeks time..its been a first for me sharing this with you all..and hope you have enjoyed watching my puppies grow over the weeks..leaving day is awful..years down the line ( although not very proffessional, i always end up crying), its hard not too..as i form incrediablly strong bonds with all my puppies..but i also know my owners will keep in touch and give me regular updates..as throughout my puppies lifes i also send birthday card from their mums and christmas cards ect too..

anyway i thought its about time i add a new picture of the puppies...

yes bertie i'm in love with, he is such a placid little boy,very loving..as he was my late addition..and was a miracle he survived..as he was inside mum nearly 3 hours late..so i have a very stong bond with this little guy..he has the most adorable little face..but he is going to a family who had a previous puppy from me a few years ago..and i will still get to see him regular..which will be lovely..
they are all gorgeous..but when some of my puppies leave me, they truely leave their little paw prints ectched onto my heart..and little Bertie is one of thoose puppies..

I am in touch (to the point of stalking!) with Bluegirl all the time and I am sure it will help you that the new owners will do the same for you. I still love Gunner. yes all the other puppies are continuing to do well and growing fast...

have a lot going on at present :062: and having a bit of a worrying time with one of my own dogs...trying to keep postive..and hoping nothing to serious... it was just a routine spay..but now going along the lines of a neurological problem..and i'm worried sick at present...

but the rest of my gang are doing fine..and i promsie you will get to see a updated pic..but hope you'll all understand..my mind and worries are with one of my girls at present...
