Why oh why is it always the angelic ones that catch you out.

Just went for a quick trot round the woods with the mutts in the pitch black. Knowing Glen of old I was keeping the torch well trained on him as he is the expert at wiping the legs out from under me.....so who was it that decided to take years off my life...none other than Sal.

She was trotting along up ahead of me or so I thought, the little devil in her was obviously too powerful tonight so she decided to hide in the bushes and wait for me to trot past and then jump out and come running up behind me. I swear my heart stopped and the poor wee mutt nearly got her head caved in with a torch.....I hate the woods int he dark....my imagination will be the end of me.

And while on the subject do they really have to mess with my head and wait until we are right into the woods and then both freeze and stare the same direction at the same time....nearly makes me cry every time :032::032:

Well in my attempt to cheer you all up this grim and miserable Friday morning I will share my adventures from the 'last walk before bed' last night.

FYI the bogeyman does exist and he comes in many shapes and sizes.....last night he showed himself to me disguised cunningly as a tree stump.

When he snuck up on me I decided the best form of defence was to throw myself on him and smother him. The plan worked only I forgot to think my plan through and it took my a further 5 mins to locate the torch which had gone out in the battle while avoiding the kisses being dolled out by two dogs excited that mummy was on her hands and knees playing with the. :001::001:
