Well after me boring the pants of everyone about what a star lilly is she has now decided to be a sod and chew, so far this weekend 1 Prada flip flop, 2 cushions, part of my quilt cover and 2 more bras.
Can someone advise if this is normal behaviour. My circumstances have changed somewhat (long story) and until I get my car back on the road (which should of been last week) or buy a new one (this week)she is having to put up with 3 not very stimulating walks a day on our local college. However max is taking Luke out for the afternoon so we are going for a trek.

all sounds normal to me alpha, lily has hit the second teething stage. i didn't believe it existed until paddy did it. apparently they can also get sudden dislikes and fears in the coming few months too. ellie did. she became terrified of other dogs. i couldn't understand it coz indoors she was a bully to poor paddy. it took ages and lots of hard work getting her over this fear. it won't neccesarily be other dogs tho. it could be anything and there never seems to be a reson for it. i was worried sick about ellie but she is fine now.

I didn't believe it exsisted either, i was just saying to OH this morning about it. Jarvis popped a tennis ball every single walk for about 6 months and i couldn't train him to stop, so instead bought about 30 tennisballs, since i bought them he's not popped or even lost a single one.

Lilly is going through about half a dozen tennis balls a week, but she is leaving them behind on walks and devouring my sodding underwear drawer contents, you wouold think it would teach me not to be such a scruffy cow....but No.
So how long does this last for?

paddy was a couple of months with the chewing. in fact it seemed to last longer than the initial teething stage :04:

Her adult teeth are bedding into her jaws just now and this can cause a second teething stage. Some dogs seem to get it and others don't. Alfie didn't and neither has Rodaidh but I know of other dogs which have. From what I've read it shouldn't last too long but you'd be as well to provide her with lots of stuff to chew on, a tea towel soaked in water then scrunched up and stuck in the freezer is good - whole minutes of peace and quiet are guaranteed!!
