No not that

The draft contract for our house! Whoo whoo! Hip hip horay! :D :D :D

We put the offer in on 16th May and its taken them this long to sort it out despite there being no chain in either direction. The biggest hold up was the fact that the free holder went and died something like six years ago without bothering to leave the free hold to anyone. SOrry for being flippant but it was highly annoying. Anyway, I have the draft contract right here. I'm meeting OH for lunch and we'll sign it (in blood maybe?) and I'll hand deliver it back to the solicitors today. I'll be very careful not to spit on them, but I can't promise. Anyway, I'm happy! Happy happy haaaaappy!

Thanks everyone. We drove down to meet Dave at work, and once evrybody in the department had come down to coo over Griffin we crawled through all the legal jargon and have signed sealed and delivered the contract back to the solicitors. All we need now is the proper exchange and then we can complete! Finally.

Its a lovely two bed maisonette in Ascot. Its not huge but we feel we've done very well. And to have a spare bedroom..I can't even imagine how exciting that will be. I might spend a whole day sitting in it just because I can! lol. Sorry, daft as a brush, i know, but we've either shared with friends or lodged for the last 3 years so having our own house will be great.

Unfortunately, i'm gonna need to do that soon. Not enough space here for us all!
