I remember how frightening it was when I brought my oldest daughter home. We both looked at her and thought FUCK......we're on our own now!!!!
Thinking of you both (and wee jackxx)

We had a few minutes of wondering wtf to do with him, but after that it was good. He's eating more now than he was in hospital, but he sleeps for good amounts of time. So we had 5 hours + 2 1/2 hours from 11pm last night. Woke up feeling quite good. The whole experience is bizarre. But I was sittin with him in my lap at 5am (he's WIDE awake and gorgeous!) and was thinkin how strange it is. He's getting really good at tracking my voice now. His neck muscles are also quite good, and he's attempting to crane his neck to look at things.
I love him to bits!

Does he have BA tags yet? ;)
Whens the best time to come visit? Mrs Ninja is on late shifts this week so daytime is best for me.

Just whenever you're ready bud. I'll be here. Tomorrow may be best tho, cos we're off to mothercare at some point today.
You know how I love to shop.....

i didn't know he was home yesterday. nothing in the world can beat the first few weeks with a new baby :13: all that bonding with snuggles and your heart feels its gonna burst with love and pride. also the feeling of wonder you get when you realise that YOU made him :13: :13: aww it gives me the shivery goosebumps to remember those feelings. have to admit tho that mine wore off pretty damn quick at 4 in the morning feed time
