Right I have most of my tattoo pics on my photobucket account so if you go on photo bucket and search for krisdt you should find my album. Please feel free to ask questions or make nice constructive comments ;) My fiance is a part time tattoist so I get to know a lot about it (he is gonna show me how to do all the set up etc to help him out) so can answer alot of questions on the whole subject.

I really like tattoos.....but....at 42, I'd feel a wee bit like mutton dressed as lamb if I got one now :11: I would really like a ladybird tattooed on my hand. When both of my kids were very little, I used to put ladybirds on my hand when we were out walking and let the children have a look at them.

Hmmmm.....think they are OK for guys of that age.....just not that comfortable joining the growing band of old girls who are trying hard to keep hold of their youth.

Jools, if you pick a feminine design and place it properly it can look good on anyone ;)

I've been building myself up for a tattoo these last few months but just can't work out a design. If I say what info I want do you think he'd come up with some designs?

Ninja I would havea good browse round on the net for ideas then if you can get all the bits you want he will have a look and see what he would suggest. only prob is we dont have a scanner so he would have to show you the design in person iykwim.

With you all the way on that one.
i went to a rather posh hunt ball (yes I did gate crash..who would invite me there) and there was a lady of about 42 lovely dress looked immaculate until she turned around and she has a huge butterfly on her shoulder. If that wasn't bad enough she must of done a lot of sunbathing as it had stated to go that funny blue colour and blur.
I think they do look really good when you are young and sexy or keep your figure as you get older, but if i had had one when i was young god only knows what it would look like now ;)

Ohhh getting tats are addictive though, I got my 1st one done of a rose when I was shhhhh (15) on my hip where my mum wouldn't see it.. when she did finally see it she thought it was very nice and considered gettiong one done too! The next one I had done was a heart with an arrow through it at the top of my left arm, but I got fed up with it a few years ago and got it covered up with a butterfly instead, which I really love. I would love to have another one done but the question would be where.. Wouldn't want anywhere that'd be on display all the time.. and too many tats on a girl looks tacky imho, nevermind when your skin starts to lose it's elastic and the tat starts to fade.
Geri from the spice girls recently had one removed from her back.. looks mighty painful and none too pretty... might not bother getting another one done!

I have that symbol (real name a triquatra) on my wrist, its actually a wiccan symbol representin the three stages of a witches life (daughter, mother, crone) and is a very feminine symbol.
Btw Bailey I am a witch :)
